Washington will also be hosting FAFSA help sessions starting in late October to help seniors apply for financial aid for college. More information is listed here.
We now offer MyPaymentsPlus which allows you to manage your students’ accounts. You can also view any school fees and optional activities. We encourage all parents to create a free account.
MPS is introducing a uniform policy starting with the first day of the 2017-18 school year (August 14, 2017) This will require pants or skirts which must be tan, navy blue or black khaki-style with black, navy blue polo or dress shirts. Washington students also have the option of purple and gold as shirt color options. For your convenience, MPS has a list of suggested vendors that you may contact, though you may purchase appropriate uniform items from any vendor that will fit your needs.

School Governance Council
A forum for parents, teachers, community members, students, and principals to participate in shared decision-making for schools. The School Governance Council meets in Parent Center on a monthly basis at Washington HS of IT. Each and every parent is invited and encouraged to come. No need to “call ahead,” just show up!
There are many ways to get involved with Washington; volunteering is one of them. The school is always in need of a helping hand from parents and community members. Your assistance is what helps make this community thrive! Here are some immediate ways to get involved:
- Office Help: The main office is the center of all the comings and goings at Washington High School of IT. Our friendly secretaries would welcome a helping hand with open arms! A school-wide mailing is sent home to families a few times a month, supplies are frequently in need of organizing and copies are often in high demand. Come in and get to know the pillars of Washington High School (our lovely office staff)!
- Classroom assistance: An extra set of eyes and ears is always appreciated in our classrooms.
