For the second consecutive year, Washington is proud to partner with Microsoft Philanthropies TEALS to bring computer science courses to our high school. TEALS pairs up passionate volunteers from the technology industry with our teachers to team-teach computer science. This year, we will be add AP Computer Science Principles to the TEALS Introduction to Computer Science course as our TEALS program offerings. Both courses will also earn NAFTrack credit as a part of our NAF Academy of Information Technology.
As a TEALS partner school, Washington needs technical volunteers to team-teach this course with our teacher. We will hold the course first period (8:05-9:09), allowing volunteers to go to work after volunteering. We invite you to please share this opportunity with technical industry professionals in your network who would be interested in making a difference in our students’ future success.
If you have any questions or wish to discuss opportunities to promote, please contact TEALS directly at Microsoft.com/TEALS or contact the school.
