Future Educators from Cardinal Stritch University’s Teacher Preparation Programs are at Whitman this fall to hone their teaching skills. Whitman is welcoming over 20 Stritch teacher candidates who are observing instruction, working with students, teaching lessons, participating in classroom activities – and receiving expert coaching and mentoring from eleven of Whitman’s teacher leaders. Stritch faculty members, Dr Clavon Byrd and Dr Amy Toson, will spend time at Whitman as well, interacting with Stritch and Whitman students and faculty. Stritch values its relationship with Whitman faculty, staff, administration and students and is excited to be part of the Whitman School community.
“In the field of education, excellence and responsiveness are the two key words. In the College of Education and Leadership, a dedication to excellence permeates our program content and our faculty.”
