At Westside Academy five students in room 303 recently published a book of their own poetry titled “Poets of the Future.” They celebrated their hard work by hosting a release party at Arts @ Large. While there, they read selections of their work and sold copies of their book. Their teacher, Jennifer Drews, got Maya Angelou to sign copies of her books for her students as a surprise for all their hard work and effort!
