South Division offers five career paths to prepare students for their future and our teaching teams integrate subject material around the school-to-career theme. Our bilingual/English as a Second Language (ESL) program is one of the strongest in the country. Students can take up to five Advanced Placement (AP) courses in English, Spanish, history and math, earning both high school and college credit. We provide 300 computer stations in the school to ensure our students are connected to the technology they will experience in college and careers. Strict discipline, the joy of learning, and strong school spirit are the hallmarks of South Division. There are specific academic requirements to enter this academy. Students living south of Capitol Dr. receive MCTS bus passes. Students living north of Capitol Dr. receive yellow bus service.
