The Universal Education mission is to provide unparalleled rich and high-quality education for every scholar and to prepare them for college, technical school and entrepreneurship leading to sustainable careers in the 21st century. We seek to build altruistic alumni who contribute to the transformation of their communities as future leaders and positive members of society. The Universal Academy for the College Bound, opening in fall of 2013, offers a unique educational opportunity in a free public charter school! The Universal Education experience builds future leaders and positive members of society through a character-based approach to education. We offer small class sizes and a diverse learning environment.



After-School Program: Our students have the opportunity to participate in FAME. This is our Fine Arts and Music Education program. Students have the opportunity to select an elective from the following courses: Dance, Theater, Drama, Music, (vocal/instrument), Choir, and Art. Offered 4-6 p.m.

Community partners: Milwaukee Area Technical College (MATC)

Curriculum: Accelerated curriculum with art-integrated core subjects

Clubs/Other: Yearbook, National Junior Honor Society, Dance, Student Council, Parent Interactive Network, Kenneth Gamble/Leon Huff

Uniforms: Required - Shirts: light blue (Oxford/Peter Pan); Pants/skirts/etc.: khaki; black dress shoes
