Anna F. Doerfler Community School serves students from K3 through 8th grade. We value our culturally-diverse population and support it with a Bilingual Program for grades K3-5th. ESL instruction is provided to students with Limited English Proficiency levels in the Bilingual rooms. Our school provides a traditional education program with special emphasis on teaching basic skills through the Comprehensive Literacy Plan. Doerfler participates in the SAGE program which allows us to keep class sizes in grades K5 through 3rd at an 18:1 student-to-teacher ratio.

Community partners: Junior Achievement, Mad Hot Ballroom
Curriculum: Aligned to Common Core State Standards with Programs for students in grades k3-5th Grade, ESL English as a Second Language. Students have the opportunity to participate in academic enrichment programs, tutoring programs, sports, clubs, and field trips. Sage K-5 through 3 classrooms 1:18 student to teacher ratio. Sharp Literacy Helps students first through third grade build reading/writing and research skills by using the visual arts.
