We offer all of our students a traditional, rigorous academic program with special emphasis on music and technology. Our staff includes specialists in music; art; trade and technology; physical education; and special education. In addition, instrumental music and voice lessons are also offered to students. Burdick students also participate in a variety of sports programs and in Race Across America. We have recently begun to focus on engineering and mathematics with grant support from Rockwell Corporation. The staff and students of Burdick enjoy an enduring partnership with the Milwaukee Symphony Orchestra as part of the nationally recognized ACE (Arts in Community Education) program. Burdick also has a strong working partnership with Cardinal Stritch University, Marquette University School of Engineering and Discovery World. Burdick has been recognized as a School of Merit based upon a successful implementation of PBIS to reinforce positive behaviors. The vast majority of the Burdick staff holds advance degrees and have been teaching at Burdick for more than 15 years.

Clubs: After-School Music (Violin/Percussion), Book Club, Forensics; Love and Logic, Restorative Justice
