1.Students are not to ride the elevator with out an elevator pass. This pass is issued by the attendance secretary or nurse with a medical excuse. Students who ride the elevator without a pass or permission from an administrator will receive a consequence by an administrator. If you don’t have a pass, you must get permission to ride the elevator when you are helping someone with an elevator pass carry his or her belongings. Students, as a reminder, please keep your hats and hoodies off in the building.
2.Congratulations to Lauryn Duncan for being nominated for the Bob Kroncke Excellence in the Social Sciences Award! She has worked hard these last four years, taking as many social studies classes as she possibly could. We appreciate your hard work and good luck at UW-Madison next year! Also congratulate Kaetryn Koezany, Piper Smith, Emma Shenkenberg and Taylor Barnes for their outstanding work in their social studies classes this year. Great job ladies!
3.Any Girl interested in playing tennis this fall, please stop in Room 225 before you leave for the summer and pick up the informational letter.
4.Freshmen completing PersonalProject! Your yellow permissions forms are due TODAY. Turn them into Ms. Schilling in room 302 or in her mailbox in the main office.
5.Attention students who are attending summer school at Pulaski High School, you must bring your own headphones for the duration of summer school. Headphones will not be provided to you.
6.Any football player who missed the positive coaching alliance meeting should see coach Wozniak or Mr. Nichols for the information sheet from the meeting.
7.Attention Former JV cheerleaders, sophomore varsity members and male students: Rufus King Varsity Cheer AND Stunt Team tryouts begin Monday May, 15th. You must bring with you an updated emergency contact card and 25.00 tryout fee. Arrive in gym attire. Clinics are May 15th, 16th and 17th from 3-6pm. Tryouts are Friday May 19th at the same time. Location is to be determined. Please see a current Varsity Junior or Senior for more information.
8.The varsity girls’ softball team defeated Reagan 7-6. Rayne Deffenbaugh was the winning pitcher. Lauren Trific lead the bats with 3 hits and 2 runs batted in. Ikiria Hayes added 2 hits and 4 RBIs. Sam Ewig collected 2 hits scoring 3 times and Amirah Brown scored twice including the game winner. The Lady Generals are now 19-2.
