1.Students are not to ride the elevator with out an elevator pass. This pass is issued by the attendance secretary or nurse with a medical excuse. Students who ride the elevator without a pass or permission from an administrator will receive a consequence by an administrator. If you don’t have a pass, you must get permission to ride the elevator when you are helping someone with an elevator pass carry his or her belongings. Students, as a reminder, please keep your hats and hoodies off in the building.
2.Attention freshmen interested in completing Personal Project! The Advisor Meet ‘n Greet is scheduled for next Tuesday, May 9th after school in the library. Plan to stay for 10-15 minutes to find an advisor and have your first face-to-face meeting. See you May 9th!
3.READY Club will have it’s last meeting of the year this Thursday May 4, after school in Room 205. READY Club members, if you are interested in attending the summer camp in Madison you NEED to attend this meeting on Thursday. READY Club members this summer camp is a GREAT way to learn new skills and potential job opportunities so don’t miss this important meeting. READY Club, it what concerned kids do to stay prepared.

5.Hey, Rufus Kingsley Harry Potter Alliance Members! Have you been participating in library advocacy for Accio Books 2017? Check our facebook page, your email inbox, or your friendly chapter organizer olivia to find out how you can engage in activism to earn house points and win a special prize. Join us for a meeting on Thursday, May 4th, as we end the year with a House Cup celebration. There will be food (and maybe even some star wars). Show up to room 132 from 3-4pm and may the fourth be with you!
6.Earthwatch Applications are here! If you are interested in attending one of the Earthwatch expeditions, pick up an application from Ms. Boettcher or Mrs. Miennert ASAP. They are due by Monday, May 15. There will be no meeting – all information is on the application.
7.Asian club! I hope you guys had a great year, because our LAST meeting will be on Tuesday the 9th. This meeting is mandatory for all Asian club members so we can vote for officers and eat one last meal together. See you on Tuesday in Barna’s room!
8.The JV1 Girl’s Soccer team defeated Saint Joan Antida 12-0. Ashley, Olivia, Tori, and Shaniya each scored 2 goals. Pan-Pan, Rachel, and Fatima each scored one goal. Congratulations ladies!
9.Attention ladies! CampHERO will be here on Friday, May 5th during your lunch hour! It is a camp for high-school girls to provide hands on experience with careers including Firefighter, Police Officer and EMT. It is a week-long camp jam packed with many activities! Stop by their information table during your lunch hour tomorrow!
10.The varsity girls’ softball team defeated Vincent 21-2. Amber Heun was the winning pitcher. Amirah Brown lead the hitting attack with 3 hits, 3 runs, and 4 RBIs. Piper Smith and Gabbir Isham each collected 2 hits. Lauren Trific had a home run and drove in 4 runs. Celia O’Neil scored 3 runs while Isabel St. Arnold, Destiny Robinson, and Adisina Reyna each scored twice. The Lady Generals are now 11-2.
