1. Here is your Autism Awareness fact of the day! Autistic people are highly organized and live by routine and schedules.
2.Attention freshmen interested in completing Personal Project! The Advisor Meet ‘n Greet is scheduled for Tuesday, May 9th after school in the library. Plan to stay for 10-15 minutes to find an advisor and have your first face-to-face meeting. See you May 9th!
3. Attention Science National Honor Society seniors, and new inductees. This Friday is the induction ceremony. At present, it will be held in room 327 and begin at about 3:00 PM. The venue may change due to IB exam setup in that room. Keep a weather ear open, and pay attention to Amber Heun’s social networking messages for last-minute changes. Anyone missing Friday’s ceremony can see Mr. Lund next Monday to pick up their awesome cords or pins. See you Friday!
4.Hello Manga Club Members, I hope you had a great spring break. There will be an important meeting this Thursday.

6. Service as Action Sophomores. If you plan to complete either your 20 hours of volunteer service for graduation requirement or your 40 hours for the MYP Completion Certificate, you will need to make sure that you have added evidence, a reflection in Managebac and turned in your tracking form. Volunteer service hours will not be marked complete until this happens. Your deadline is May 5th.
7. Service as Action Freshman. If you plan to complete your 20 volunteer hours for the MYP Programme, you must have added volunteer activities, evidence, and a reflection in Managebac and turn in your tracking form by the end of final exams. If you want to get a jump start on serving your hours for sophomore year, stop in the library to pick up the application for the MPS Summer Week of Service.

9.Attention Pilates members, we will meet this Friday in Room 210 (Mr. Biel’s room) from 3:00 to 4:00pm. This is our last meeting of the year. Hope to see you there! Train Insane, or remain same.
10.The varsity softball team defeated MSL 23-14. Ikiria Hayes was the winning pitcher scoring 3 runs and driving in 3 runs. Lauren Trific lead the hitting attack with 4 hits and driving in 4 runs. Rayne Deffenbaugh had 3 hits, drove in 5 runs, and hit a home run. Isabel St. Arnold and Destiny Robinson each drove in 2 runs. Amber Heun scored 3 runs while Adisina Reyna and Sam Ewig each scored twice. The Lady Generals are now 8-1.
11.The JV 1 softball team defeated Bay View 24-6 last evening.
12.Congratulations to Mr. Wenzel’s JV softball team on staying undefeated in conference with a 20 to 5 win over Tech. The Lady Generals are in action again next Tuesday versus Washington
13.The Earthwatch meeting scheduled for this evening has been canceled it will be rescheduled for next week
14.Any students that are interested in youth apprenticeships next year and want to attend a May 9th information session should pick up a permission slip in guidance and return it by Monday, May 1st. You must have 90% attendance to participate.
