1. Here is your Autism Awareness fact of the day! Almost half (about 44%) of children identified with Autism has average to above average intellectual ability.Autism does not mean mental retardation. Many autistic can excel in different fields of knowledge and arts.

3.Attention Spanish Honor Society members. UWM is hosting the 39th Annual Latin American Film Series, April 21st-27. Come and see some of the movies and earn a credito each time you see a show, sign up with Mrs. Mayer. See Mrs. Mayer in room 315 for details. Gracias.

5.Congratulations to all of the MATHLETES on their 5th place finish in the state! Individually, Jacob Huebner finished 5th, Zachary Ramirez finished 16th and Brendan O’Brien finished 30th. King has finished in the top 5 in the state 4 out of the last 5 years, which only 2 other schools in the state can say! Congratulations Mathletes!!
6.Greetings Rufus King, If you would like to apply to serve as a Link Crew leader, your time has come! We will be holding two informational meetings this week Tuesday or Wednesday in the Rufus King auditorium. The meetings will begin at 2:55 p.m. and will last roughly 20 minutes. Applications will only be distributed at these meetings and current Link Crew leaders, remember that you too must apply! Please see Ms. O’KB or Mr. Machut with any questions, concerns, or upsets.
7.Attention students participating in the student vs. staff game next Friday the 28th: Mr. Machut needs you to see him TODAY to report your name, shirt size, and shirt number. Shirts are $15 and money is due by Thursday to Machut.
