1.     Here is your Autism Awareness fact of the day! About 1 in 68 children has been identified with autism spectrum disorder.
2.     The Boys’ Tennis Team needs more players, if you are interested in joining the Boys’ Tennis Team please see Coach Smith in room 225 or Mr. Nichols in the athletic office as soon as possible. Thanks, Coach Smith
3.     Do you regret missing the first meeting of King’s newest club, the French club? Don’t panic!!! There’s another meeting this Thursday April 6th in Room 314. Hope to see you there!!!
4.     ACE Coalition members: please come to our next meeting on Tuesday, April 4th, from 3:00-4:30pm in room 210. We will be creating digital stories with UWM professor Candance Doerr-Stevens. Please come prepared with digital versions of 5 photographs that are meaningful to you to use in your digital story. See you there!
 
5.     Heads up ALL writing center tutors:  There will be a meeting this Thursday for all tutors in the library after school.  Please plan attending.  If you cannot attend, please contact Ms. Daroszeski or Mr. Biel. Thanks everyone. We will see you Thursday after school.
 
6.     Attention All Seniors:  Prom Court voting will take place on wednesday, April 5 during the lunch hours.  The voting table will be located near the senior section in the cafeteria.  Juniors will not receive a vote day as your class prom court nominations are uncontested.  Noble Titles will be announced at prom.  Good luck to all the candidates. Thank you Mrs. Dreyer.   
 
7.     Attention Service as Action Sophomores! If you presented a Personal Project at the March Exhibition, please make sure you complete and document at least 30 volunteer hours by April 17th. This will qualify you for our MYP All-Stars Completion Party on April 21st. Need help? Have questions? Stop by the library to see Ms. Thompson
 
8.     Seniors, I said SENIORS please listen up.  Jostens will be here on Thursday April 6th during your lunch periods to distribute your caps and gowns and any other graduation items you purchased.  To pick up ordered items, you must pay the FULL Amount in cash or with a Money order, NO Personal Checks will be accepted.  Caps and gowns are coming this Thursday during your lunch.
 
 
 
 
9.     Generals, this is a    B I G   S H OU T   O U T   to all the Generals who stepped up and became HEROES on Friday at our Annual Spring Blood Drive.  Generals through your generous donations you helped save over 270 lives.  That is fantastic!!!!!!!!!!!!    Thank you, for filling all the time slots available, but most importantly for donating and help saving the 3 premature babies born this past weekend, the 2 car accident victims and the 10 people who needed Major surgery over the weekend.  They may not have been alive if it weren’t for your GIFT OF LIFE, your GIFT OF BLOOD!!!! You ARE heroes!!!!
 
10.  Peers with Influence, please stop in 212 to pick up fieldtrip permission slips.
11.  Greetings Rufus King, Friday, April 7th Jew Crew invites you to participate in the annual Holocaust Remembrance event. Look for Jew Crew members in the main hallway Friday morning as we gather to distribute paper clips in memory of those who resisted hate and oppression. Wear a paperclip and show your commitment to ending Anti-Semitism and all forms of bigotry and intolerance. Please see Ms. O’Keefe-Boettcher with any questions or concerns.
 
12.  The varsity girls soccer team won their conference opener last night, defeating Carmen 9-0 in the cold and rainy evening.  Sophia Anger, Abby Mucha, Brooke Smith, Tori Aguado, Ava Schmidt, Sophia Saito all scored.  Lilly Prado and Zoe Foster shared the shutout in goal.
