Principal’s Message

Welcome to Riverside University High School, the Home of the MIGHTY TIGERS! Our school staff works together with our families to ensure that every student is striving towards post-secondary success. All students whether they are planning to attend college, serve in the military or enter the workforce benefit from a strong educational foundation. Here at Riverside, we provide our students with a rigorous curriculum that includes Advanced Placement courses, Project Lead the Way, Bilingual (Spanish/English) Education, World Languages, Music, Art, Special Education services, Technology and Youth Options. We provide opportunities for students to engage in social justice inquiry and activism as well as exposure to internships and other community-based experiences. Our students lead and are involved in Box City, Youth Empowered in the Struggle, the Student Think Tank, Keep MKE Clean, National Honor Society and Robotics, to just name a few. Riverside has a variety of sports and other extracurricular activities, which include football, basketball, swimming, tennis, golf, wrestling, track and volleyball as well as cheerleading, drumline, choir and play production. Riverside is the school that has it all!

We encourage our parents/guardians to get involved in our school through volunteer opportunities, the School Engagement Council (SEC) and our monthly Parent/Teacher/Student Association meeting (PTSO). We value all of the members of the Riverside family. As principal, I look forward to being of service to our families and our community, working together to have a welcoming school environment with a culture that fosters a passion for learning among all of our school community members. Gracias for the opportunity to serve.
