MPS’ Milwaukee School of Languages ranked first among Wisconsin high schools on the 2016 Washington Post list of America’s Most Challenging High Schools.
U.S. News and World Report also honored MSL, ranking the school 25th among nearly 500 Wisconsin high schools.
MSL’s strong Advanced Placement program helped it earn high marks. The program will grow further next year as MSL becomes one of the first Wisconsin high schools to earn the right to participate in the AP Capstone diploma program.
Milwaukee Public Schools Superintendent Dr. Darienne Driver joins the MPS family in congratulating MSL’s students, families educators and support staff who continue to achieve great things.
In total, eight MPS high schools were honored by either the Washington Post, U.S. News or both.
