Course Selection Days for 2021-2022
9th grade March 1 and 2 in Mr. Umstot’s classes
10th grade March 4 and 5 in 10th Grade English classes
11th grade March 8 and 9 in Algebra 2 classes
If you are not in class, you must see your counselor any afternoon
Last day to submit requests: March 19, 2020
Instructions:
Parents, please help your student prepare for course selection by going through these steps with him/her.
- Before a student selects classes, please review your transcript and find out which credits you still need to take. Watch this video to learn how it’s done.
- Now that you know how to review your transcript
- Using this checklist mark the classes you have passed.
- When you click on the checklist link, you must download the checklist in order to fill it in. Unfortunately you will not be able to save the checklist if you are using your Chromebook.
- Compare your transcript to the graduation requirements and see what credits you still need to take. (Be sure to consider the classes that you are currently taking)
- If you were unable to use the checklist, write down which classes/credits you will need for next school year
- Using this checklist mark the classes you have passed.
- Now click on the grade you will be in next school year and you will be directed to the course selection card.
10th grade 11th grade 12th grade
- If you want more information about some of the classes you see, click the link to learn more about options in Advanced Placement (AP), Project Lead the Way (PLTW) and telepresence!
- If you missed being in class on the day of course selection proceed with the following steps:
- Watch this course selection video
- Using your next year Course Card (see #3), select your classes, remember make sure you have 100% complete or 32/32 at the top
- That’s it! Your schedule will be made based on your requests.
