Did you go directly to college / work or did you follow another route?
There were many routes I followed other than going directly to college. I was able to travel a little, and to explore areas of interest. After receiving an Associate degree, I worked for awhile and then went on to complete my Bachelors. After five years, I then complied credits to complete a Masters in Education. Some of my best decisions were made which revolved around a college education.
Activities Involved In While In College:
I was involved in the National Reading Association, Phi-Theta Kappa, I Business Organizations, as well as others. The University of Whitewater had a lot of support in involving students in organizations that would further network them into the communities.
Rewarding Moment at Madison HS:
Although there have been many, most notably is when the students showed such an interest in the Rainway Project. I was skeptical anything would materialize.
Tell us your story. How did you get to where you are today?
Although there are many stories to tell, in summary, I have been fortunate to have had leaders among my family members who have steered me in positive directions.
