Tell us your story. How did you get to where you are today?
I am originally from Fond du Lac, WI and am a 2005 graduate of Fond du Lac High School. After graduation I lived at home and worked my way through college e at UW – Fond du Lac and UW – Oshkosh.
Following graduation I enrolled in AmeriCorps and served at both Middleton High School in Middleton, WI working on parent engagement issues, and with the PEOPLE Program at UW Madison. After my year of service, I moved back to Fond du Lac and worked in a factory before being hired by the local school district as a long term substitute.
During the fall of 2012 I was hired by the Milwaukee Public Schools and have become a full-blooded Milwaukeean! I’m heavily invested in the local community through various groups and have begun attending graduate school at UW – Milwaukee.
