James Madison Academic Campus (JMAC, pronounced Jay-Mack), located on the Northwest side of Milwaukee, is a comprehensive high school (Grades 9 through 12). We offer a challenging curriculum of highly rigorous classes that includes AP English Literature, AP Statistics, AP US History, Honors English, Honors World History, Restorative Justice, Robotics, Pre-Calculus, Calculus, and the NAF Academy. Madison’s alternative program offerings include credit recovery classes and a successful GED Option #2 (GED-O2) program.
In addition to classroom learning, Madison offers students a chance to participate competitively in athletics and a variety of clubs. Our student council governs many of the academic and social aspects of our school along with our student leaders who work within the community of Madison, as well as the community at large, to create a positive school environment.
Under the leadership of our principal, Gregory Ogunbowale, the Madison community believes that by encouraging strong character, developing leadership, and building positive role models today, our graduates will enhance society tomorrow.
Through rigorous instructional foundations and nurturing, all students at James Madison Academic Campus will become proficient learners, prepared to succeed in post-secondary education or careers, and to become productive citizens.
The mission of James Madison Academic Campus is to produce students who are college ready and who are prepared to enter post-secondary employment opportunities and educational institutions with a high level of academic, technical, personal, and social competence.
