Nominate an All Star Teacher!

We are delighted to share that Target has teamed up with Major League Baseball and PEOPLE to bring you Target presents PEOPLE All-Star Teachers, a contest that celebrates extraordinary teachers – current or retired – who make a difference in the lives of students and the community. On July 15, thirty teachers will be celebrated as classroom all-stars at the 2014 MLB® All-Star Game® at Target Field in Minnesota.

Here’s how the contest works: Students, staff and other caring adults may nominate a deserving teacher by visiting AllStarTeachers.com March 10 through May 6. Target, MLB and PEOPLE will select three teachers per MLB club for a total of 90 finalists that fans will vote on from June 5-29. The 30 winning “All-Star Teachers” – one representing each MLB club – will be revealed on July 9, with a special tribute during the All-Star Game on July 15.

We’d love you to be a part of this and to help spread the word! Visit AllStarTeachers.com at http://mlb.mlb.com/allstar-teachers/ to nominate a teacher and then share the link with your network via your school’s website and newsletter and social channels, using #MyAllStarTeacher. The contest starts March 10 with all nominations due May 6, so please help us celebrate teachers who give students something they need to succeed – a great teacher!

Let us know if you have questions and thank you for helping spread the word about this great program!

Thanks for all you do in your support of education,

Target Community Relations
