Welcome

Welcome to Hi-Mount Community School! Located in the Washington Heights neighborhood, our school provides high quality instruction for all students in K4 – grade 8. We offer extensive support and opportunities to our students that they may achieve at high levels and enter high school with a solid educational background. As a K4 – grade 8 school, Hi-Mount students experience educational continuity, receiving an education in the same building for 10 years. This continuity allows students and teachers to develop lasting relationships and Hi-Mount learners know that each year they will be held to similar expectations and expected to follow consistent rules.

We offer Special Education with cross-categorical and MRP programs.
