It’s crazy how fast this
went, Honestly it feel like
It was just yesterday when
I was starting my 8th grade year
The student have been
through sweat, tears, happiness
sadness and stress to be
able to graduate their 8th grade
Thank you to all the teachers
that helped student
thank you to that lunch
Ladies for the food and more
Congratulation to the class of 2024
“Graduation Day” by Henry V.
The Day that many of us fear
The Day that many of us await
That Day is here
On this day most of us go our own ways and far from our schoolmates
I’d like to say something to everyone who supported me in my path
“Thank You” for supporting me and for helping me when I had troubles
The hardest subject? That would be math
Math would hit us like brass knuckles
This Day comes thanks to effort
This Day comes thanks to dedication
The effort we put was like spicy pepper
This dedication could reach even the space station
Some may ask why work for this
Others may say cause it worth
The satisfaction and opportunities you get will be like you’re first french kiss
Its a feeling as big as earth
To all I say “Thank You for helping me and others for open the gate of opportunity”
To MPS I say “I’m glad you’re here”
My Thanks to everyone is more than infinity
And that is all , I will go like a musketeer!
“Eighth Grade” by Ixia Hernandez
Eighth grade, graduation year
The grade in which we all grow up,
We go to different schools
to proceed our dreams
It may be the hardest year
of our childhood
but we get through it
With our parents, teachers, and friends support.
We have been through a lot together,
We support each other because we are a family.
Sure we all had our ups and downs
with each other
but we make up for it.
We may not be friends
but we are peers,
we take care of each other.
Eight grade seems hard but once you get used to it, it actually is hard. It seems like it’s not possible to pass eight grde but the teachers here at Hayes have helped us over the years. They prepared us for what they saw coming for us. They wanted us to do better and here we are almost at the end of eight grade. Thanks to our teachers, thanks to our parents, thanks to our friends, we are here. We rose and we will keep rising.
I will miss this year, I will miss our teachers, I will miss my friends, but I will always have that memory with me since I started here at Hayes. From the water balloon fight we had in 4th grade to the interview we had in 6th grade and then to the picnics we had in 7th grade and OUR graduation in 8th grade. I love u guys and always will. ☺
Congratulations my Virtual Distant Learning 8th Graders!
Wishing you all the kindness and success in the world as you have given us this year in our bilingual classroom!
