Jacobus Park All Day Event

It is our 2nd annual Jacobus Park All Day Event!!!

It will take place on June 7th rain or shine. We are looking for parents to volunteer both at the school and at the park. Information was sent home on Thursday, May 2nd regarding the event. If you are missing the informational flier please click on the following link (Jacobus Park) and send your information into Hawley with your student. Last year we had a great turn out of over 50 Hawley community members who volunteered and the event was a great success.

Governance Council Memembers needed

Hawley Environmental is currently looking for parents to make a commitment to join our school’s Governance Council for the next two years. If you want to be more invovled within the Hawley community and want to help move Hawley into the future please consider running for Governance Council.

Great American Clean-Up Postponed Until Monday!!!!

Due to the likelihood of rain/snow and high winds, the Great American Clean-Up scheduled for tomorrow, Friday April 19th, has been postponed. The new date will be Monday, April 22nd. We will follow the same schedule that would have been utilized on Friday.

If the weather on Monday, April 22nd does not cooperate the event will be postponed until later in the week with a date to be determined (TBD).

Hawley Family Night April 25th

Remember on April 25th is our Hawley Family night. We will have environmental activities, 4th and 5th graders show casing science projects, a 5th grade camping meeting, instructional support for parents on how to access online material, and information regarding summer recreation. Doors open at 5:00pm and the event will last until 7:15pm. Mark your calendars!!!

Milwaukee Symphony Orchestra Pops’ Concert

ALL SCHOOLS – Milwaukee Symphony Orchestra Pops’ Concert

Great News! Through the efforts of the MPS Music Office, the Milwaukee Symphony Orchestra is again offering 100 free tickets to MPS families (4 tickets per family) for the Sunday, February 17. Pops’ Concert, The American Songbook, scheduled for 2:30 p.m. Please promote this concert to your students and staff so that students get a chance to see and hear one of the top orchestras in the nation, and we show an appreciative response to the MSO for their gracious offer.

To get tickets, simply call the Ticket Office at 414-291-7605 and use the promo code “MPS” to have tickets held at the “will-call” counter. Below is information about the concert.
