I was born and grew up in Hong Kong, a biliterate and trilingual city, which naturally gives rise to my profound interest in language education. I thinks that by learning a new language, learners are being exposed to new perspectives and ways of living. So I am excited to be a part of students’ journey in exploring. I hold a Bachelor of Arts in Teaching Chinese as a Second Language and a Master of Arts in Linguistics and Applied Linguistics from Huazhong University of Science and Technology. Before starting my teaching career in the United States, I also studied and earned a Master of Science in Curriculum and Instruction from the University of Wisconsin-Madison. So after teaching five years in Washington D.C., I am glad to be back in Wisconsin.
