Teacher/Staff: Ms. Meyer/Mr. Kim
Reason for nomination: Dalila is one of the most enthusiastic students we have in our English 11 class. Though she already read The Great Gatsby in middle school, she’s not the kind of student who constantly complains about having to read it for a second time; on the contrary, she exudes excitement about it (which I especially appreciate since it is my favorite book), even volunteering to read the part of Daisy Fay Buchanan. She greets me and Mr. Kim with a smile and hug everyday. She is also supportive of fellow students who are going through tough times.
