Attention All ‘DADS’ of Goodrich Students!
‘Dads and Kids’ Pizza Night Event!
FREE Pizza, Drinks and Fun!
Fathers and Father-figures,
On Wednesday, October 11th from 6:00 – 7:00 pm we will be having our 3rd annual ‘Dads and Kids’ Pizza Night at our school. We will meet in the school cafeteria at 6:00 pm for FREE pizza and drinks. At 6:30 pm we will have a presentation about our WATCH D.O.G.S.® (Dads Of Great Students) Program. WATCHWatchD.O.G.S.® is an innovative program being used by schools across America which helps them to be positively impacted by the committed involvement of fathers and father-figures in their student’s life. Our goal is to have you spend at least one day this year at the school to be a positive male role model and to provide an extra set of eyes and ears.
Dads, granddads, uncles, step-dads and adult brothers . . . this is your chance to have a night out alone with your student(s) in a fun atmosphere at school.
If you plan on attending, please fill out and return the form that was sent home with your child.
Sincerely, Ms. Clark, Parent Engagement Coordinator

Children age 3 to 16 can receive free dental exams this Saturday, October 7 from 7:30 a.m. to 2 p.m. at the Marquette School of Dentistry. Sponsored by the Milwaukee Public Schools Head Start Office, services will include dental screenings, fluoride treatments, oral hygiene education, and limited emergency services if needed. A parent or guardian must accompany children who attend.
Appointments are not needed and transportation is available for current MPS Head Start families. For questions or to reserve transportation, please contact your family partnership associate or call (414) 252-0350.
Dental pain is a leading cause of missed school days for children. Dental care at an early age can help children learn good habits and keep their teeth healthy throughout their lifetimes.
Marquette School of Dentistry is located at 1801 W. Wisconsin Avenue in Milwaukee. Families should enter from the south side of the building.
