Principal’s Message

Golda Meir School provides an extraordinary education for each student.  At our core, we value learning. We believe in providing meaningful, real world experiential opportunities for our students. Teachers utilize innovative instructional strategies to engage all students in learning. We value and nurture the individuality of all students.  Academically, we challenge students to not just meet, but exceed expectations and to never settle for mediocrity. Our rigorous academic program, combined with the many experiential opportunities to learn outside the classroom, city, state and country, contribute to our development of critical thinkers and leaders who will be change agents in our global society.

The Golda Meir experience is comprised of a diverse student community, where varying points of view, interests and backgrounds are celebrated. We encourage our students to participate fully in the life of our school community and to take advantage of the opportunities that are available to them.  The relationships among students and between staff, students and families are at the heart of what we value most.  Our teachers understand that a student is a whole human being, and therefore they provide academic, social and emotional learning experiences that contribute to the development of the whole child.  Students are encouraged to be active decision-makers and self-advocates in a supportive and nurturing environment.  By providing differentiated curriculum, learning experiences and flexible grouping opportunities, our staff is more effectively able to meet the needs of our academically diverse learning community.

Both our lower and upper grades campus’ provide an exciting and energetic learning environment where students build upon their own unique experiences and grow and develop into mature, young adults prepared for college and beyond.

I encourage you to visit our website or tour our school community to learn more about our program.
-Michelle Carter, Principal
