MPS Return to School Survey: Closes on Friday!
Your feedback is important to MPS! Please take our survey and offer input about your child’s virtual learning experience this semester, along with your thoughts about returning to face-to-face learning. The survey takes about 10 minutes and will remain open until Friday, January 8, 2021.
Access the survey at Roadmap to Readiness Survey.
January 13th Supply Pick Up
More materials have arrived to aid in Montessori lessons and virtual learning. We have 1 set of material available per student.
Pickup will take place on Wednesday, January 13th from 8:00am-7:00pm. Unlike previous pickups, this pick up will be CURBSIDE. Please stay in your car and someone will be out to help you. Please drive westbound on Falling Heath Place and proceed forward to the glass doors. (see the map below)
Those that live close to the school and will not drive can pick up their materials by the Falling Heath Place entrance to the school (glass doors).
Upon arrival, you will receive a bag of materials for the grade of your child(ren).
We ask that you please wear a mask.
If you have questions or need to make alternate arrangements, please contact Kristy Lowell, Assistant Principal, at 414-294-1306 or lowellkm@milwaukee.k12.wi.us.

The Gifts of Imperfect Parenting, by Dr. Brenee Brown
If interested, please check out the book “The Gifts of Imperfect Parenting.” It has been suggested by Upper Elementary teacher, Ms. Kari Wellhausen. A brief description: “We all know that perfect parenting does not exist, yet we still struggle with the social expectations that teach us that being imperfect is synonymous with being inadequate. These messages are powerful and we end up spending precious time and energy managing perception and the carefully edited versions of the families we show to the world. On The Gifts of Imperfect Parenting, Dr. Brené Brown invites us on a journey to transform the lives of parents and children alike.” This book is available to listen as an audio book for free through Hoopla and in hard copy from Milwaukee Public Libraries. https://www.hoopladigital.com/title/12141230
