Craig Families,

Please attend Craig’s annual Silent Auction FRIDAY night and bring a dish to pass! Heritage Night is from 5-7:30pm! PLEASE remember to donate to your child’s classroom basket if you have not already! IF you have not donated an item, send the item to school with your child on Friday.

The silent auction will help our school by supplying money to the PTO for things such as:

Going Out Field Trips
Pet Supplies for our school’s pets
Urban Ecology Center Field Trips
Teaching supplies (such as animals for dissection etc.)
Two bus trips per classroom each year
AND MUCH MUCH MORE!

We have school on Monday! Don’t Forget!

FAMILY FUN NIGHT FRIDAY March 15th, 6-8:30 @ Menomonee Valley Urban Ecology Center

Please remember to turn in your family fun night registration forms to your child’s teacher so we can get a head count of people showing for this Friday’s event at the brand new Menomonee Valley Urban Ecology Center located at 3700 West Pierce Street.

The event is $5 per person or $20 per family up to 6.

The event includes:

Chili

A night hike led by the boyscouts (hot chocolate will be served)

Puppet Show

Drum Circle

Animal Room Visitation

Games

Make and Take Crafts

Use of indoor Slid

Personalized screen printed shirts and Crafts for Sale

Please join Craig Staff and families for their annual Ice Cream Social and Open House on Thursday, January 17th from 6-7:30.

Open House is time for you to visit your child’s classroom. The children will explain/show you what they’ve been working on this year.

Open House is from 6-6:45

Ice Cream social is from 6:45-7:30

Qdoba Fundraiser Tuesday November 20th 5-9pm

The Marine Biology Club will be holding a Qdoba Fundraiser at 12345 West Capital Drive, Milwaukee WI on Tuesday, November 20th from 5-9pm.

Simply bring yourself, your friends, your family in for a nice dinner off of cooking prior the holiday break! Qdoba will be donating 10% of their profits to our club.

Greetings Craig Montessori Community!

What a wonderful experience my transition has been thus far! It’s hard to believe that now been Craig’s principal for a little over a month. I have had many opportunities to meet parents and families and I am proud of the passion and commitment you have for our school and the education of all students.

I would like to htank all of the parents who attended Parent/Teacher Conferences this month. If you did not get a chance to attend, please contact your child’s teacher to schedule time to discuss your child’s progress. I would also like to continue to envourage you to stop in and visit your child’s classroom regularly, attend future school events, join the PTO (Parent Teacher Organization), and/or become a school volunteer.

November is a busy month for our district and school. Please see the “Important November Dates” located in the news feed on the webpage and the school calendar located on website for meetings, events, and testing information.
