- Milwaukee Public Library has some exciting activities to recognize Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr. Day this year. We will love it if you and your students participate in our Daily Youth Trivia Contest, MLK Day Challenge, and Virtual King Day Celebration! - Milwaukee Public Schools wants to hear from families about virtual learning this school year. Please follow the link to complete our Roadmap to Readiness Survey to help us adapt and plan. - Love and Logic presents a free seminar- “Parenting During Uncertain Times” on Tuesday, January 12. Learn solutions to current challenges facing families including: Parenting in the Covid age, helping kids with anxiety, depression, worry and stress, helping kids stay motivated in virtual school, dealing with challenging behaviors, long-term effective parenting strategies and caring for your own mental health. - MPS adds packaged supper meals at Stop, Grab, & Go meal site. To help provide nutritious meals to Milwaukee children, MPS will begin offering packaged supper meals along with breakfasts and lunches at 50 Stop, Grab, & Go sites.
