The renovation of a nearby historical building in Walker’s Point is creating an opportunity for Bradley Tech students to connect to a eight-month long learning experience with Wangard Partners, Findorff construction and Building2Learn.
The Eagle Knit building project is going though a $30 million renovation process. The cohort will visit and work with the trades professionals at each important point of the project, learning about construction topics that include environmental remediation, architecture, rough carpentry, plumbing, and electrical.
The project kicked off with a tour for facility located on South Second Street and media was present to document the start of the learning project.
