Welcome to the new, merged 81st Street School for the 2012-13 school year!
Our school offers more to our children and families as a result of the merger between the existing 81st Street School and the 68th Street Early Childhood Center. We now serve regular and special education students from K3 on through 8th grade.
Our mission is to provide our students with the academic rigor and strategies necessary to excel in college and beyond. Our vision is that our students will acquire the skills to continue a life of learning and success. 81st Street students are presented with a variety of hands-on learning experiences in all subject areas and we offer specialist-taught courses in both music and physical education.
