National Volunteer Week: Greenfield’s parent volunteers

Greenfield Bilingual School has a fantastic team of parent volunteers. These committed individuals serve in classrooms, with special events, in the lunch room, and so much more. Students certainly benefit from having these caring adults in the school, and the volunteers give back to their community, meet new friends, and have a good time.

Jump Rope for Heart

Riley Elementary School raised about $2,000 to combat heart disease and stroke through Jump Rope for Heart, the international charitable event that started right here at Milwaukee Public Schools in 1978.
