Science in Action

Students from Morse Marshall Gifted and Talented and Congress School put their heads together to solve the “paper bridge challenge” as part of a Project Lead the Way (PLTW) engineering design learning activity. Students were only allowed to use two .75 inch wooden cubes and strips of paper. The winning bridge was over six feet long. Through PLTW, students apply skills they learn in math and science to real-world applications through hands-on, project-based classroom learning.
