Sisters represent MPS at Dr. King event

Rufus King freshman Tayler and her sister, Terynn, a 2nd grader at Alcott School, both represented MPS at this year’s Dr. King Celebration held at The Marcus Center for Performing Arts. Tayler won first place for her entry in the Art contest, while Terynn won first place for Speech. Terynn delivered her speech at the citywide event and received a standing ovation for her performance.
