New School wins mock trial competition

The Street Law Mock Trial Team from New School for Community Service won 1st Place at the Marquette Law School Street Law Mock Trial Competition this spring at the Federal Courthouse. This was New School’s fifth trip to the Final Trial Round in seven years and its third first place finish. In addition to the first place trophy, Annabelle Pfaffenroth won the Best Witness trophy and Naomi Edwards won a Best Attorney trophy. The team is coached by New School Street Law Instructor Marty Horning and Marquette Law student Benjamin Roovers. The New School family is very proud of this distinguished accomplishment by its students.
