- Session Description: K-8 Classroom Teachers only. Bluekids.org is a series of online health education courses that MPS has complete access to. These courses can be used as part of the required health education curriculum. Teachers will learn how students can access the bluekids.org courses. Courses include: 1)Mission Health (grades K-2)Destination Respiration (grades 4-5) 3)Drug Defense (grades 4-5) 4)Energy Extreme (grades 4-5 body systems, nutrition, and body needs) 5) It’s UR choice (grade 6 drug and alcohol course)6) 4 UR Health (grade 6-8 nutrition, physical activity, and body image) 7)It’s Up 2 U (grades 6-8 drug and alcohol course) 8)The real U (grades 6-8 Social Emotional Wellness). In addition there are two Bullying Prevention Courses. These courses should be used with in conjunction with full school staff training in partnership with the MPS Violence Prevention Office.
