Brenda White serves as the Special Projects Coordinator within the Office of Career and Technical Education for the Milwaukee Public Schools district. White’s responsibilities include coordination of the Teacher/Counselor Job Shadow Program, articulation with MATC and assistance with additional projects as needed. Rather than interacting with only one group of individuals, White works with teachers, businesses, community organizations and other central office divisions to provide educational opportunities that prepare MPS students for post-secondary education and careers. White enjoys being a part of the CTE team and takes great satisfaction in instilling the importance of lifelong learning within MPS students.

Before coming on board as the Special Projects Coordinator for CTE, White taught Business Education for approximately 30 years at various Milwaukee high schools. These include Bayview, John Marshall, Vincent and Hamilton.

Milwaukee is White’s home and she is a product of MPS. During her youth, she attended Lloyd Street, Roosevelt and Rufus King schools. She is proud that Roosevelt and Rufus King still stand strong within the Milwaukee community and continue to provide a quality education to those in attendance.
